Re: K. Robinson return kickoffs & misc. stuff from KFFL

I think we should give Harris and Thomas a chance for MLB and Henderson and Greenway on the outside i dont know what everyone really likes about Leber what has he ever done. And i think Williamson or Moore should return kicks and Kluwe should be our punter

Yeah. Seems kind of dangerous to have your #1 returning kickoffs . . . regardless of the fact he was a Pro-Bowler at that position. As the Vikes stand, they're kind of thin at the receiver position.

If Steve Smith for Car can return punts, I have no problem with K-Rob returning kicks.

Besides it was nice not being the one worst special teams in the league last year for a change.

MM was top 5 for punt returns also.

I have no problem with K-Rob returning kicks if he or the coaches have no problem with it.

Pick out the #1 receivers in that group and you'll find one - Steve Smith. (KRob was NOT our #1 receiver last year, so he don't count for 2005).

So - to your argument, I submit 50 OTHER returners who AREN'T their team's top receiver (or, in most cases, even a #2 receiver or RB) as my counter-point.

    Ummm . . . didn't K-ROB go to the Probowl as a KR Specialist?

Let him return kicks if he wants to.

We've got other receivers . . . IF . . . he gets hurt. Time for M-ROB, T-WILL, and others to earn their paychecks!

Yes, he did. So what? He wasn't the Vikings supposed #1 option at WR.

Now he is. And he's making the big $$$ because of it. So you protect that asset at all costs.

Randy Moss would have been the best KR of all-time - but he was back there only once in a purple moon because he was too valuable to get hurt.

What would have made Moss such a great kick returner? There are a lot of very good receivers that suck as kick returners.
