in the article on star tribune about sid, it was said at the bottom of the possibility of trading for Vincent Jackson because of Rice's hip now... I know hes out for the first 3weeks due to suspension. But it made me think and actually kinda get a hard on cuz I would love to see that happen.

Or maybe, dare I even say bring back 84 which I think we need to cuz he needs to retire a Viking.

Vincent Jackson doesn't seem to fit our need. We need someone for the beginning of the season when Rice is out(4 weeks hopefully considering week 5 is our bye).

Also I would expect he would demand a multiyear deal and I don't think the team wants to do that.

Moss would be great but I don't see it happening. The Patriots would want a ton and I don't think the Vikings could do it for someone of his age. Better to wait a year and get him as a free agent(plus it will lure Brett back).

I just made the trade with a Chargers fan. Benny Sapp and a 1st round pick for Vincent Jackson.
