EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Sidney Rice faded into the end zone, leaped over a smaller Green Bay cornerback, and hauled down an acrobatic touchdown catch.....

Hopefully we see him on the field more on sunday. This guy will be a stud. Throw the ball to him!

    Good read...
I really like Rice, believe he is more in the mold of being a no 1 receiver.
Unlike Williamson who in my opinion will never be a no1 receiver, but could excel as a no2 or big play guy!!
    Go Vikes!!

Recently watched a few 'Cocks replays on ESPNU and Sidney was a serious weapon for Spurrier.
The kid is legit from 30 yards in to score virtually everytime he touches the ball.
Outside of that, he's still a good WR...feed him; sky is the limit
    IMO.

About time the Vikings do what I have been saying all season long...throw the RED BEAN (football) to RICE!!!

Rice could be the Michael Irvin (minus the showboating and coke habit) to Williamson's Alvin Harper...now we just have to find the right QB who can get them the ball consistently!

    no doubt.
i know it was one week but you could just see from the raw ability what he is capable of.
i picked him up on my fantasy team possibly for later in the year.
if they keep on using him as a 3 wr he should be able to make plays going up against a teams 3rd best corner, at least until they start catching on.
but i dont think it's any secret that the pass game looked better last week and we got rice, or for that matter all the wrs involved.

Good read! I think Rice should get the ball as much as possible. Him and AD are the guys we are gonna live on in the future!

    Thank to Lotza

    Very nice read my friend.

I, along with the most of you, believed we should have been giving this kid, right along with the other youngsters, thier reps from day one.

    Hows that Ferrgy experiment working?
Were are all the sniffers who said we need a "Big Name" "Proven" Vet now?
    ;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I think he is a future star who should have been out there more all year but we still could use a proven vet on the team. Right now we have a bunch of crap and one pile of rice that has not germinated yet.
