    Judd Zulgad Retweet (QB prediction)

Sorry if this doesn't need its own thread but I can't think of anywhere else for it. I tweeted a question to Judd Zulgad and he answered it today via retweet (trying to get the hang of this twitter stuff).

JuddZulgad: Favre. RT @DavidYount If you had to make a guess right now, who is the Vikings starting QB on game one of the regular season next year?

I love hearing this prediction! I know Judd is following this as close as anybody is and I had all but given up hope on Brett coming back next year.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

Paul Allen thinks he is coming back as well. Also, LONGwell hinted at it.

Yeah I think all signs point to Favre returning. He just wants to get all the proper attention from the media all offseason first. God forbid he say "I'll be back after training camp" right?

Oh well..I'll keep holding out hope it's somebody else.
    Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!

One more asshat making a prediction. Favre is still crippled after that game and he'll make the decision when he does. The media is their own enemy when they bring it up every couple days (yes, this was a tweet, but, I'm just saying). He better make his decision before the Ides of March or I will have to make a trip down to Kiln myself.

I'm glad you brought this up, Prophet. In Shooter's column from yesterday's Pioneer Press, Charlie Walters reported that Brett was more seriously hurt than is known. Here's the quote:

"Vikings QB Brett Favre took a more severe beating in New Orleans than most people know, and one side of his face was badly bruised."

Worst since Favre joined the Vikings I would say, besides the panthers game, but I think this was worse. Especially what was involved in this game.

I hope he comes back. I used to hate his guts when he was with the Pack but that's because he torched us all the time. In one season he made me realize why he was loved and still is loved by most Packers fans. He made this year a great year to be a Vikings fan, and it was one of the most exciting seasons we've seen in awhile. Knowing there is a chance for him to come back next season and make it even more exciting makes me pray to God he returns. Come back Brett and GO VIKES!!
