Brings them down? Who has Daunte brought down?

I agree Daunte needs playmakers around him to succeed, but he certainly does not make others worse.

    Exactly.

Johnson generally makes great decisions. He is not perfect but keeps his poor decisions to a minimum. Culpepper makes poor decisions a higher percentage of the time and also does not pertect it when he has it causing more fumbles.

If you look in the papers Culpepper will get headlines before the team where Johnsons teams will get headlines before himself. He will not be the superstar but has the ability to assist others on the team of becoming superstars. I'll take that any day.

Sorry to say but I have nothing good to say about Culpepper.
I take loyalty very seriously and he had none!!
It was once again awesome to see him struggle and beaten down, not to mention his constant INT's!!
I love the fact one of the most selfish players I have ever seen is getting exactly what he deserves... NOTHING!!!!

I don't understand why everyone is so concerned about Daunte Culpepper.

He isn't a Viking anymore, so I can careless what he's doing in Miami.

I wish him well with the Dolphins, but I'm convinced he lacks the patience to be a sucsessful QB.

Until Miami trades for Randy MOSS . . . DC will continue cracking under the gun (INT & FUMBLES).

Right now I'm am glad to see that his imploding isn't affecting us anymore.

O yeah. I was watching the game at the Sports Book. I had the pleasure of sitting next to two Miami fans. I was nervous and concerned for most of the Vikes game; but, listening to these two dudes lament trading for Pep kept me from dipping too much emotionally. They kept saying things like, 'Who's he throwin to?' and 'Can't he read that coverage?'. I have said these things SO many times. I finally leaned over and said, "You're welcome.'.

    Re: Johnson vs Culpepper

Being from South Florida I still have a lot of friends from there.
I spoke to a couple of them today and they wer telling me how right I was.
They can totally see what I was talking about.

I'm not saying pep will never learn but as for right now he needs to step up and be a leader and not get so rattled.
You never see him have a good game when he is pressured.

I am over my bitterness now seeing him in anotehr uniform but I am glad he is struggling.
I think it's more so the Vikings don't get the bad publicity.
I still will take BJ over Pep anyday of the week at this point in both their careers.

Sort of off topic, but am I the only person that noticed that all the same people that used to bash Culpepper when he was a viking, have been saying that he is going to be a beast in Miami, its odd.
