I hope the fans boo him off the field when the Vikes get home. I've never felt so much hate for my own team...they are unexciting losers with no offense. This season is a TOTAL waste of a top ten defense....

I've been a Vikings fan forever...
I've got to say ever since the Stringer death this team has just absolutely frustrated me into submission.....
every time I log on or read a news report it's another kick in the groin.....
I suppose I need to keep the whole thing in perspective since this is supposed to be part of my entertainment package.....
Johnson has done NOTHING to deserve this start and if Childress had wanted to energize the team and the fan base he'd give the Rook a shot......
all I can say is BJ BETTER win these last three games if he does get this chance.....
otherwise he goes into an area I rarely place Vikings players into.....
my small Vikings trashcan which actually only holds one other player in it as of now..........

So much anger and so little idea of where to direct it.
The blame lies with every member of the team.
There is no doubt that Childress has made mistakes.
He is a first year head coach.
Give him a second full year before you make a decision on his abilities.
As for Brad Johnson, this is his last year in Minnesota, so all the Brad haters will get what they want.
(I'm sure they'll say it's a bit late. )

If I had to guess, I'd say start Johnson and if it goes bad, put Jackson in, from that point on Jackson should get the start.

I have said it b4 and will say it again.

It's better to sit Tjack for the first half. Let Bj work the team, show the kid what the D is gonna do in each situation.. then in half time make the switch.

all through the game BJ and Tjack can talk, B.chill can instruct.. and when the 2nd half comes.. let the kid sling!!


1. He'll know what's gonna be coming
2. He'll have an idea of what he should be doing
3. He's been watching the tempo and can understand the timing
4. it's smart coaching!!

just cause he doesn't start doesn't mean he won't play..

T-Jack said those comments after the game. There is really nothing said that prooves Johnson will be the starter.

I have a thought.
Could it be possible that Jackson is starting and they want it to seem like Johnson is starting?
This way it would keep the media off him and Tarvaris thinking about the game.

I actually honestly believe this is the case. I think he wants the other team to plan on playing Brad, so he has suggested it would be brad. This would take some pressure of Tarvaris.

Who knows though.
