I guess i'm a little confused. Regarding ring of honor, is that the equivalent to having your # retired? When they pull the curtain off his name, his number was there as well as on the other ROH names. However, i am sure i saw a player wearing '93 on the sideline.

John Randle is the only 93 up there but you are right when you saw another 93 on the sidelines. That would be Kevin Williams one of our all pro defensive tackles

There are currently 6 numbers retired:

10 Fran Tarkenton
53 Mick Tingelhoff
70 Jim Marshall
77 Korey Stringer
80 Cris Carter
88 Alan Page

I hope no other numbers are retired.
The Ring Of Honor should be enough of an honor for a player, jmo.
