Thread: John Avery?

Now that it looks like Bennett will be unavailable as a starter for awhile, why has there been no consideration of John Avery as a potential running back? I mean all he did was lead the CFL in rushing last year and lead the league in rushing with the XFL. Granted those arn't quite the same as the NFL, but that at least shows potential. Out of all the running backs we have he is probably the most like Bennett in his running style and probably has superior blocking and receiving skills. I am just curious why no one talks about him. Maybe not as a starter but at least the top 3! He probably has more experience and talent than Chapman or Smith.
