Vikings could ask Joe Webb to change positions - SBNation.com

Cool. He could be more of a -3 yard pass threat than Harvin ever could have.

Desparation for Webb. Not likely to make the team. He should go play in Canada for a year or two.

Its about time. He was drafted to be a receiver. Could be the next Jerry Rice. Who knows.

    Joe Webb switching to WR

Should put him in at DB and let him use his sped, height and athleticism there. At WR you have to have great hands and be able to run precise routes and I have not seen him be able to do either. On defense he just needs to know his zone responsibilities and then read and react which gives him a better chance of catching on.

He doesn't stand a chance at WR

Am I the only person that likes this move? He may not work out at WR, but he definitely wasn't a QB. This at least gives us the opportunity to get his athleticism on the field.

Personally, I think he could do some damage in the slot. He's got some moves in the open field.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

If they had done it when they first drafted him, he might have had a chance. The best I can see from him at this point is special teams and gimmick plays.
