I remember when you mocked me for saying we have good depth at DT and you wanting to draft one in the 1st round.http://blogs.twincities.com/Vikings/...itting-in.html

I remember when this cat was coming out.
Knock on him was that he would project as a DT and he didn't want to be one.
He wanted to be a DE at the next level.
Looks like the staff has got him finally accepting that role.
Maybe, just maybe we do have a good coaching staff...... :
What I said (at that point of the process) was I didn't like anybody were we picked and thought DT was the best value (Peria I think).
Eventually I plugged PH in at that pick and went with a DT in the 2nd.
You wanted a C or CB or something of that nature if memory serves.
;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Jimmy Kennedy Fitting In
I had no use for Kennedy when he first came. It seemed like they would just push him around at will.
What I didn't realize is that he is still learning the position.
So he lost some weight and got in shape this year. And he's a totally different player.
I'm very pleased with his improved play.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Again, he has revolted against playing DT his whole (albeit short) career.
Not sure who should get the props, Chiller, Frazier, DL coaching staff, or Jimmy for finally getting his head right.
My guess, probably credit should go to all of the staff and Jimmy. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
