He can dance when he is holding the Lombardi. Until then what he does means squat

I find those standards to be a bit unrealistic and wonder about folks like Bud Grant, Cris Carter, John Randle, Matt Blair, Scott Studwell, Carl Eller, Alan Page, Tark... etc meaningless cause they didn't hold the Lombardi trophy. Sorry not a big fan of the all or nothing mentality, I'm not saying I'd honor mediocrity but there are a fair number of great, very good and just plan good people that have been involved with the Vikings that haven't held that trophy.

Maybe I am a bit calloused but for all of that talent we have had and all of the HOF players, MVP's Rookies of the year etc we still can't seem to win the big game and to me yeah, it's nice that we get some exciting players but until we win a lombardi trophy then the team is incomplete.

Totally agree, you ain't sh!t until you're holding the trophy. But he's on the right track.

    Hindsight is 20/20.

Lets see if the guys he picked end up panning out & along with Jennings stay injury free this season before crowning him. If they are giving him credit for drafting AD, then he should get an "oh shit" for drafting Ponder instead of Kaepernick.

Our 3 #1 picks look decent on paper, but lets see how well they play first. I do think Rhodes will be a pleasant surprise.

Lets see what Kaep does this year before you go crowing him or hating on our GM for drafting Ponder over him.

Remember, that coaching staff made Alex Smith look pretty good.

Kaep is way ahead of Ponder & has 1/3 the starts Ponder has had.

Both coaching staffs are playing to their QB's strengths & limitations.

Again, nothing to do with Ponders stats, lets see what he does this year.

But didn't Ponder beat the niners last year? I think he would have still won if CK was under center.
