Jersey question....

Okay, maybe this'll make me sound silly, but I had a question.

I just received a Reebok Adrian Peterson away Jersey I won on eBay.
It's the kind with the tackle twill numbers and sewn name plate.
First actual jersey I've bought.

I just realized that it doesn't have the purple side panels on the torso.

Got it for a good price, guy seems totally legit, it had the NFL hologram tag.

Did they change the design already?
Or has anyone else experienced this with the Reebok jerseys?

On a totally seperate note, the new John Randle throwback featured on the website is totally freakin' sweet.
Might need to see about one of those....
These things could be addictive.

The NFL hologram can be forged easily.

Partially, I just feel dumb because I should've noticed it in the pictures.

I've sent an email, and am waiting for a response.
I'm going to try to resolve this in private first.

Don't want to lose the leverage of putting his name out in public yet.

File a complaint with ebay.
If you paid by paypal file a dispute.

I have never lost a dispute.

Don't feel bad, pretty easy to get duped by some of these.
It happens.
Now you can help advocate for others facing the same questions.

I bet a lot more people bought Moss and Culpepper jerseys shortly before their trades than Robinson ones.
Sucks for me either way though I suppose.

There was a thread here about a week ago warning people about the faux jerseys on eBay.

You need to know what your looking at when you bid. If it doesn't have a pic don't bid.

I checked them out & there are some that look correct & others that don't, so beware.

If there is a pic & your jersey doesn't look like it when you receive it, you have a very legitimate case.
