Can you even be 00 in the NFL?
I don't believe so, but Krazy George, the inventor of "The Wave" wore #0 when he was here..........

I was correct with my initial response & stand pat.

Even though they were worn in the past, they are against regulation to wear now.

Numbers 0 and 00 are no longer used, though they were issued in the NFL before the number standardization in 1973. George Plimpton famously wore 0 during a brief preseason stint at quarterback for the Detroit Lions. Jim Otto wore number "00" ("aught-oh") during most of his career with the Oakland Raiders. Wide receiver Ken Burrough of the Houston Oilers also wore "00" during his NFL career in the 1970s.

Here's the official list of all players. Only Cortez Hankton doesn't have a number yet.

I realize no one knows the answer but I will try regardless, does anyone know if Pete... haha

:-[ thats just what I have always called him... will wear a visor?
I had a dream last night and for some reason Adrian Peterson was wearing a PURPLE visor.
Now obviously that is a serious stretch but I really do hope he wears his visor in the NFL.
It would just be big for me

I hate all of you for not answering a question that is impossible to answer... I guess we might see this weekend in the mini camps.

Anybody else hate the fact that receivers wear low #'s? I hated it in College when I played, my fellow L. B. s would wear #2 0r even #11.
    It just looks odd.

I can't prove this, but I think i read some wear that not anyone can wear a visor due to the strict dress code of the NFL.
I believe you have to request the ability to wear one with some sort of justification be it medical or something.

    THAT'S the jersey to get.
Fabulously obscure or amazingly prescient 10 years from now.
