Re: Jaworski: Vikings' Jackson 'beginning to get it'

Jaws' analysis is credible; due to his football intellect and his objectivity.
I've met Jaws, spent a day on the course with him and chat football with him time to time on the phone.
I can honestly say he's one of the most genuine, nice, celebs I've ever met.
He's a guy that just loves life, and football.
    His opinion matters to me.

He brings up some things that we've spent time (lot's) debating here in PP.O.

Gotta love his point about TJack making progress as a 'passer' vs a 'thrower.'
To me, this is one of the most important QB attributes.
Look at the greats...Starr, Staubach, Montana, Marino, Tark, Young, Unitas, Namath, Favre (sorry boys), Brady, Bradshaw, Elway, Simms; the vast, overwhelming majority could not throw the ball through a brick wall.
Marino, Favre, Bradshaw, Elway - all had awesome fastballs, no question.
Sometimes, the fastball is needed, however, as Jaws often points out, every single great QB was a 'passer.'
I think that's Jaws' most important factor in his analysis of QB's...the fact that he sees progress in TJack in this area is THE most encouraging thing to me (other than his 7-2 record this year).
I also like how he doesn't overdue the analysis of his progress.
    Encouraging words for sure.

Also, Bobby Wade...good work young man!

Good read by a credible man.

    Sure, never hurts to ask.
That'd be kinda cool, he probably already does it for the hated Eagles, however, I'll check.

It is funny how his analysis in the article and his analysis during the game do not look very similar.
