Well here is my theory. Since the Raiders view him as their best offensive lineman, they probably won't be using very many chip blockers on his side. If any at all. My guess is that they are over-confident in Veldheer, and Jared Allen has a huge day. I'm predicting 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

The one thing I liked about the Packers game was the way they moved JA around.

I think it is time for Robison to step up. His name has been called very little since week 3

JA got schooled big time. No excuses can be made. He lost one on one, fair and square. You can't win them all.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

Jared schooled? Not quite.
He was in pressuring the QB constantly. Yeah, no sacks, but they had a good gameplan to negate the pass rush. When we started comitting too hard to rushing the passer, they killed us with screens. between those and runs up the C gap, you can't comitt to rushing the passer, especially when the team is playing with the lead they had.
After about halfway through the third, I figured they'd be lucky to get any sacks for the rest of the game simply because of the playcalling by Oakland.

I would say he got owned. Bound to have a bad game. Although you can also credit Veldeer for allowing him to rush hard outside and push him outside the pocket and allow Carson to step up against no DT pressure.
Allen did what was asked of him. But besides one play where Veldeer tackled him he wasnt much of a factor in the pass rushing department.
