Allen made it clear who he still blames for his time in Kansas City coming to an abrupt end after an All-Pro 15 1/2-sack season in ’07. “His name is Carl Peterson,” Allen said. “You can put that in all caps.”
"Obviously, I had a problem with (owner) Clark Hunt, too, because he chose Carl over me -- huh? When everything went down there, I didn't appreciate being lied to,” Allen said.
"revenge is sweet". JA will show them why.

FYI, most sacks in a game by a single player: 7 (Derrick Thomas - 1990)

Allen returns to play Chiefs, glad he's a Viking

Bitter? That's not the most accurate word Jared Allen would use to describe his April 2008 separation from the Kansas City Chiefs.

"I'm in a great organization now. The Wilfs are phenomenal. Plus the contract I was going to sign [in Kansas City], this one was 10 times more than that one. ... Honestly, things work out for a reason."
So we paid 10 times too much plus gave away a 1st round draft pick?

That's assuming the Chiefs made him an offer at his market value, which they didn't...

I think the Chiefs offer was just a one year deal franchise tag of 8.8 mil but the Vikes gave a 6 years of 31 mill guaranteed and a total of 73

No doubt. Draft if such a crap shoot that we were just as likely to come up with Erasmus James as we were Warren Sapp.
