On a second thought, maybe I should start watching the CFL instead. Found this on Wikipedia:
The CFL is much more lenient than the NFL when it comes to touchdown dances. It often has very small, if any, penalties handed out to players who celebrate excessively.

CFL end zone celebrations often include more than one player, often a whole wide receiving corps of 4-6 players.
True. You get away with more celebrating in the CFL but you usually get a penalty when you bring more than 3 players into it.

That was sweet! It would definitely have been fined in the NFL.

JuddZulgad: NFL says it decided to warn Jared Allen because that is how new VP of officiating Carl Johnson wants it enforced.

    Someone wanna take him out?

With the NFL's love of banning celebrations, I'm waiting for the league to start fining fans for cheering at games. The "seen and not heard" rule.

Hahaha. Don't give them any ideas because I heard they're looking for some.

Another stupid - and blatantly biased - NFL ruling designed to curtail anyone NOT in Green Bay.

How does Jared Allen's celebration hurt anyone? It takes about 2 seconds, and he moves on. It takes FAR longer to perform a Lameblow Leap, and the risk for injury - to players and fans - is far higher.

But hey, let's put a stop to the calf roping gimmick...

    Good call, NFL...

Someone better get some chap-stick for Green Bays wiener...the NFL gobbles on it so often, it's likely to wind up chapped.

Nothing really to say about this other than it is ridiculous.

Though I will admit ... I have always thought the roping a calf thing was a little overboard.

I never thought it was out of line at all. Its just his trademark, not a big deal. It takes two seconds and doesn't affect anyone else.

Re: Jared Allen Ordered to Stop Sack Celebration

The NFL is just too much...his sack celebration is pretty tame. How bout they cut down the celebrations after every play. The players now days are like ohhhh look i made a tackle now i'm going to have a stroke/convulsion. I think the NFL makes a big mistake taking away endzone celebrations and such (as long as they don't take forever and are not crude). The fans enjoy most of it and they are the ones paying the tickets.
    Lets go fishing
