He's as unimpressive as 2nd in the league in sacks, can be.

Yeh I forgit that allen is supposed to sack the QB on every pas play. He is getting the QB
Putting alot of pressure on them which in many cases can be even better than a sack if the QB makes a mistake or bad play because of that. The JA video that was posted of him being miked up should be a perfect example of what something like that would do especially since Hasslebeck did what against the defense? Yeah

Plus you see him getting Doubled and tripled teamed alot as well. Hard to get teh number when you are doing that. Has he had a so-so to below avg game. Yes but so has Reggie white, Chris Doleman, ect
as well. .

Just proves that you don't need any sort of credibility to be a sports writer. Just send your application to bleacher report and they let you be one.

But when I rewatched it I saw he hit Hassellbeck like 8 times

It was unreal how he did not get a sack

He is still playing at a very high level

There is absolutely zero chance of getting to the QB if he gets the ball out on time. 3 steps and pass takes about 2 seconds. Allen is a beast, and a big reason we are 9-1 and have improved against the pass.

10.5 sacks means at least 10.5 hits.


And he hit Hasselbeck probably 6-10 times last week, he was all over the place.


This guy's stats are wrong. There's a unanimous media opinion on Allen, he's a great football player. There's a reason why everyone is mentioning him as the front-runner for Defensive Player of the year.
