He is a beast and was everything we needed him to be. Worth every pick and penny.

Really enjoy watching him play, I can do without the calf roping celebration though.

I have the sudden urge to rope some cattle.
We're bringing purple back.

That was one of my favorite moments of the season... Jared Allen running, throws up his arms, like, "WTF.... HE'S OUTTA BOUNDS!!!""Tad7" wrote:
I'm so glad we got the guy! Great personality for fans and the locker room and a beast on the field. Even when he's not getting sacks, there's usually constant pressure.
They forgot the Orvlosky highlight though
:P
I was thinking the same thing...that safety was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and Allen's reaction was perfect.
Best play of the year IMO... I laughed pretty hard.
Best part was the look on the detroit sidelines and then Orvlosky's reaction after he realized what he had just done.

Re: Jared Allen 2008 Season Highlights
You really can't say enough about the guy
Worth every single penny and was worth giving him the highest contract ever for a D player and all the picks that went with it
Anyone who can play with TWO significant injuries in one year and not miss a game and STILL play with that intensity gets 2 thumbs up from me
His personality and leadership are amazing
He helped out in the pass rush, run D, and pass D immensly
Jared Allen has found a great home and we are very lucky to have a great guy like him
08 was great
