    It's "riddance".

And we had many problems last year, but Gerhart was not one of them.

Haha... yeah, the "human momentum killer" only averaged 7.9 yards/carry last season... 4.7 yards/carry for his career.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Definitely a good player and I'm glad he is going to finally get his chance to show how good.
However, was giving up an extra pick, to move up in the draft, for a back up running back, who rarely played, a good move by the front office ?
Toby was a good player and it's no reflection on him. I just think it is bad strategy to waste a pick to move up unless it's for a starter.

I was okay with the pick at the time.

The way I saw the Toby pick was that MN was a team focused on a run first offense and putting all their eggs in the AD basket 16 games a year 20+ snaps a game was a tall order and a big risk. Toby was insurance that came mostly as an opportunity cost (draft pick) vs. an actual financial cost. Basically doubling down on a strength to make sure you can count on it being a strength.

Hopefully they replace Toby with a solid RB that can be counted on when needed.

Yeah, Gerhart was horrible. Only sat in the shadows without saying a word, did a very good job whenever his number was called, has a very good YPR in his career. Please man, get a clue before you spew..

I was a big Toby fan and hate to see him go. I hope AP doesn't go down this year or we are screwed.
