Re: Jackson gets some rare playing time

My perfect game dream played out this week.. I posted almost exactly what actually happened in this weeks game, earlier in a thread this week.

We had our demanding lead at the end of the 3rd Q.
And coaches where able to take BF out and plug in TJ.
I was happy with TJ's play, and even happier for him as a player, to see him hook up with Rice on that sweet TD play.....
Nice Job TJ

Re: Jackson gets some rare playing time

Very nice to see Jackson holding his own out there.
He still looks a bit jumpy and not nearly on the same level of comfort as Favre, but he is still young..not to mention Favre is roughly a 37 year NFL veteran.
Watching Favre for one or two seasons should do nothing but help him further develop.

One thing that I couldn't believe I read was TJack's comment regarding Favre:

"It's good to be able to watch a guy like that because of the way he plays. He's a guy who makes plays out of nothing. It's similar to what I do."

Sorry Tjack.
We love you (a lot of us anyways) but please don't ever say anything retarded like that again.
Thank you.

Interesting quote but I don't think TJ was talking about what he has done in the NFL with respect to "making plays out of nothing".

Lets not forget, this kid basically played for the backwoods scrub team when it comes to "Passing Schemes".
My guess is that he was talking about what he did in that area.

By the way, he didn't invent that "Jump Pass" play.
He probably either learned it from watching a certain Vikings starter do it 100 times or he learned it out of necesity down playing in that scrub league.

By the way, thanks for the read my friend.

"Right now we're just taking it a week at a time," he said. "We had no idea I was going to play today, but they did a great job of getting up big early and I got the opportunity."
Yea right.

TJ is good off the bench.
