MANKATO, Minn. - Tarvaris Jackson insists he won't be trying to make a statement....

I really don't like the idea of our first string playing the whole first Qtr. I'd like to see them move the ball, and score a TD on the first drive. Then substitute, we have alot of competition that needs to get playing time, to seperate themselves.

We also have alot of young guys across the board starting on the first unit(s) that need the reps.

At this point the first team needs all of the playing time together it can get.
