Sad but true, gotta respect his love for the game, but in all cases like these...it's sometimes better to retire when your on top! Someday, that day will come!!

I saw that too and couldn't believe it. My wife doesn't know anything about football and she was appaled at that.

It's on Fox Sports, it's linked on the MSN homepage too.

Doesn't say he was traded yet, just upset at his role and wants to be traded.
He claimed the Raiders never told him to expect a diminished role, and he would embrace the chance to play elsewhere because he "can't go out this way." He said earlier this year that this would be his last season, but backtracked later.

Sources said the deal was for a conditional seventh-round pick. The pick is based on certain playing time incentives for the 42-year-old Rice, who has recently complained about his lack of action in the Raiders offense.

The guy hasn't had more than 10 TD's since 1995!! 19 frick 95!!!!! Geeze..get out old dude. You were great once but you are a selfish ahole! It don't matter...Moss will catch his records. Moss has 44% of Rice's TD's in 33% of the playing time.
