The last time we lost starting a Qb and were 2-5 with a suspect head coach was in 1984 with Les Steckel. Looks like we heading that way again.....sorry guys, but its over.

thats eerie... just like the lake!
sorry... I'm a little dilerious...
Nuts! I remember 1984 and it was not fun...not fun at all.
We will beat the Lions twice.. Green Bay at Lambeau and Bears home.. thats 6 wins.. could be enough :)..
And well beat the Browns too
I dont know....this team is falling apart.....mutiny in on the brink.
Don't give up on our guys until it's over...you never know what can happen...look at the Panthers last year...1-7 to start the season and they came within one win of making the playoffs last season...we already have a one game lead on their start, so there is still hope!
well...we'd have to go 6-3 for the rest of the season to finish .500...given our past road record over the last few seasons thats looking pretty impossible...and from what i heard on the radio today about DCs knee, 3-13 is looking like a good record for us...not that im happy with any of that, but hey, what can ya do but watch the games and go "wow"...
peace...
Yeah I'm sure we'll not be picking in the top 5, can't see how we won't be in the top ten
Thing is, we'll beat Detroit, so that will be the 3 right there, I don't believe we will lose the rest but it is somewhat sad that we are so terrible on the road....
Even in 1984 we lost Tommy Kramer to a season ending injury......ya know, we brought Bud back the next year, but I think the game has passed Bud by in 2005.
I think the rest of this season we will learn to appreciate Culpepper for the Qb he is instead of micro-analyzing his weaknesses. Maybe, some time away from the game will help Pep work on the mental side of the game a little and not shoulder all the blame for being a marque player on a bad team.
Perhaps in 2006, we see a different Culpepper?
