It's Official: Bevell to call plays this season

Coach Brad Childress made another news item official on a busy Monday at Winter Park: Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will be the Vikings' primary playcaller when the regular season begins Sept. 9 against Atlanta.

Bevell has worked in that capacity throughout the summer, and Childress said, "I'm pretty comfortable with it right now."...

Looks like Childress is trying to appeal to us fans by granting all of our wishes.. First tailgating spots, then Holcomb.. now this.

They needed to act when they did.
Fans were starting to get pissed off.
You can't jump from the Tice era to what we had last year and expect everyone to be cool with everything.

Holcomb = Scouts, Coaches, Capologist, Owner.
Bevell = I will give the Chiller his due here.

Solid point. I'm getting into the habit of referring to the organization as just Childress. Either way the whole organization is trying to turn this boat around with all the new stuff they're pulling out. It's like they read PP.O

Childress didn't give us the parking......Wilf did. He's making money on them also. I believe that's the highest priced lots around. I usually parked a little over a block away & paid $20, sometimes $25.
