i think they do very good at it.. they take lots of things into concideration.. they favor the older players because they seen them play last year.. and cant make a player who hasnt played last year a 90.. plus you have to update the rosters the ratings change if they do bad during the season

All right, its nice to have your opinion.
It would be hard to rate players becaust there are always so many surprises, Champ went downhill, Bruschi went up, Brees went up. Just some examples.

yah.. its weird.. if they played bad the year before they cant make them a 90.. like brees he played terrible last year and was rated a 70 something because of it.. i updated the rosters and he was in the 90's i think..
and all the rookies go up also because they seen how they play during the year

Re: Improvement Scale
Ok, here is an idea i just got overnight so tell me if its dumb.
We rate (on a scale of 100), all of last years starters compared to all of this upcoming years. Once we have done that, we edit the players to reflect these atributes, and then we plug the roster into Madden 05. It tells your teams overall rating and we can see how much we improved.
If it is a bad idea just disregard this, if not then the players we need to rate are Moss, Marcus robinson, Nate Burleson, Chris Hovan, chris claiborne, napoleon harris, dontarrious thomas, Fred Smoot, Corey Chavous, Darren Sharper, and Brian Russel.
