Improvement Scale

Ok, here is an idea i just got overnight so tell me if its dumb.
We rate (on a scale of 100), all of last years starters compared to all of this upcoming years. Once we have done that, we edit the players to reflect these atributes, and then we plug the roster into Madden 05. It tells your teams overall rating and we can see how much we improved.
If it is a bad idea just disregard this, if not then the players we need to rate are Moss, Marcus robinson, Nate Burleson, Chris Hovan, chris claiborne, napoleon harris, dontarrious thomas, Fred Smoot, Corey Chavous, Darren Sharper, and Brian Russel.

Lol, how about just guesstimating. I don't think Madden is a vey scientific way to go about this.
But I would say our defense has DEFINITELY went from the 26th-32nd area up to the 6th-14th area and our offense has probably dropped from the 1st to 3rd area down to the 6th to 14th area. If we can hit my high thoughts there 6th in defense and 6th in offense then we could definitely be Super Bowl bound.

But if you had to rate the difference, what (on a 1-100 scale) would you consider chris claiborne?Napoleon Harris?

Madden sucks. I am a HUGE madden fan & they get so much stuff wrong. It is unreal. They dont even have the offseason right. On madden you draft before free agency when ti should be the other way around. Warren Sapp was a 92...come on.

yea it was pretty screwed up.. but its still a fun game...

Warren sapp was a 92 because he had a good year the year before.. there are a few flaws but i think madden rates the players very well

EA Sports is the absolute WORST at player ratings. Their ratings favor old declining big-name players over young up-and-comers that are way better, but don't have the name recognition.

I tried to do it on ESPN 2K5 but it was messed up because they rated Burleson as a 69, Hovan at a 90, and Chris Claiborne at an 86. The ratings in my opinion favor former 1st rounders.
