    Importance of the Colts games

If I were you, I wouldn't be too concerned about the Packers (and no, not because I'm trying to lull you to sleep).

You guys will be up for the Packers, no matter what. Win or lose, both teams will play as well as the can.

This is a national audience and a prime time opponant. I can't tell you how bad the Titan game killed us for confidence, especially when the pundits saw it. In some polls, we're still not much higher than 28th in the league.

THis is your game of the season.
Have you ever seen a race of turtles, and they all go the wrong way instead of towards the finish line?

    Welcome to the NFC North.

It's been said before, and I'll say it again. Every weeks game is the game of the season! Any win counts as a win and any loss counts as a loss. It doesn't matter who you play so every game is just as important as every other game. (well, I guess division games may be a little more important cause it also counts as a loss for a team in your division, but you still need to want to win every week.)

    Purplehorn,

I'm not saying this just to disagree with you, but there ain't
no way in hell we're gonna put the ball in the end zone 5 times. We
did it twice this year. Both when Moss was healthy and against sh*t
teams. I'm prayin just to come out with a "W" on monday night.
No matter how we do it.

Actually, I believe we did it 3 times, and you can say they were bad teams, but there is no way you can say they were worse defenses. Think about it, the Colts have the last ranked D, so we could possibly do it without Moss if the other guys step up.

I am in total agreement with you, rjk...the bad thing is that many times the team forgets that very important fact and they take a week off or they let other things take their minds off the job that they have to do week to week. The important thing is that the Vikings need to refocus and do what they do best...don't get too fancy and just run the ball down teams throats (O-linemen love to do that more than anything and we have the massive line to do it) and pass just enough to move the ball efficiently downfield. I do think that the game will be pretty high-scoring, but if our D can step up, we can win this game and be rolling just in time for next week's game against the Pack.
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Yup, its all up to both lines on both sides of the ball to win this game, the Oline needs to be a beast in the run game this week and we need to get pressure with our front four againts manning. Those two things (in my mind) will determine weather we win or loose.
