The Immigrant song or Welcome to the jungle?

Besides the fact that Zeppelin is probably one of the greatest bands ever, and Axl Rose is a tool, I'd have to say Immigrant Song is my favorite of the two.

That is not to say GnR don't have their good tunes. Slash and Duff and the Nikki are all amazing musicians, and they rocked it hard when I saw them at the Velvet Revolver show at the Quest in Mpls.

My argument really isn't based on the actual football game atmosphere, as I have not been to a game in nearly 18 years. I am merely saying Led Zeppelin kicks a$s.

I was number 160.
I like both songs, but I love the idea of Immigrant song with it being about the Vikings and all.
Not to mention I am a huge Zeppelin fan.

i love zeppelin. i dislike GnR.

but immigrant song wouldnt make a good kickoff song.. at all. i dont care what the lyrics are about. jungle gets me pumped.

Welcome to the Jungle - thats always been at the games that I've gone to, so I associate that with Vikes games

Welcome to the jungle tune is one of the most used kick off songs used in the NFL (imo) So who are we playing it for? The Vikings or are opponents?
While I agree that welcome to the jungle is great sound for the kick offs but, the Immigrant song is also equally powerful piece of music!
Welcome to the jungle should be the theme song for a hyperactive daycare!
The immigrant song is Strong and powerful and puts fear into our opponents eyes!

That is what makes the immigrant song so unique to the Vikings. It's about Vikings so who elase would use it?

Personally, I'd prefer Immigrant Song.
I agree that it's more thematically correct.
So, I signed the petition (#172).

However, I think the best song PERIOD would be Megadeths' "Crush 'Em".
