    I'll admit, I'm a convert

    I'm officially supporting Childress.

Considering the careful picks he's made over the last several years, we've progressively become a better and better team, and now are considered one of the best, if not the best, in the NFL.

The Colts are fighting through multiple injuries in the secondary and the run offense is just adequate. The Saints can do it all with a great passing game, a solid run game and an aggressive defense. But for the first time this season, I am hearing more football people whom I respect mentioning the Vikings as the best team in the NFL.

Childress is actually a fantastic coach in a lot of areas now that he has the material to work with.

We've consistently been one of the best defenses in the NFL, we've consistently been the best rushing team in the NFL, and now, with Farve, Loadholt, and Percy Harvin, we've become a well-rounded team.
A comfortable lead in sacks, our secondary isn't utter garbage (we really haven't been doing horrible even with Might Mouse out on fly happy teams).

The hating on Childress at this point his hardly justified IMO.

Has Singer ever admitted that he is glad to have Favre?

Or is he still saying wait until late in the season?
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I'll admit, he's got a lot of coaching fundamentals down. If he can just get the playcalling and clock management down, he'll be one of the best. Till then, Denny Green is still my favorite.

4th and inches at the opponents 40. 2 minutes to go and down by 10. Denny would punt it away everytime and twice on sunday. No killer instinct. Let the falcons hang around and............
I'll take the Chiller any day even if he does look like a molester.

I got onboard with Chilly in the middle of last season. He has grown as a coach. I guess people forget that rookie players need time to grow and coaches are no different. He seems to have gotten his ish together and the move to get Favre was priceless.
