Ignore the panic button

MINNESOTA
Vikes QB Tarvaris Jackson started slow and ended about the same. He started 2 of 7 for 16 yards in the first half against Green Bay and ended the game by throwing a pick at the Packers' 39. Remember, though, Jackson's been out since mid-August, the Vikes picked up 5.7 yards per rush and I like the fact that Brad Childress went for it twice on fourth down. Jackson's accuracy downfield is horrendous. If he improves that at all before Indy and Carolina come to town, the Vikes can IGNORE THE PANIC BUTTON

Re: Ignore the panic button
I agree, but I also think he was a bit rusty. He'll be fine.
Now, if Childress can avoid penalties due to "Too many men on the field" or wasting valuable timeouts due to personnel problems, we'll be fine... I think that's more important.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Re: Ignore the panic button
Too many people here expect to see perfection out of Jackson & the haters will always whine about anything they can.
Had Jackson completed approx. 82% of his passes like Rodgers did, they'd dwell & whine about the 18% that didn't get caught.
If a WR catches 8 passes & drops one, they will not mention the 8, but rather the 1 ole butter fingers drops.
This fits the mold of more people here than I care to mention.
