Thread: If we draft a RB, who do we dump?

If we do end up drafting a RB, who do you think do we end up releasing or trading, or will we keep them all? I think we should keep them all because bennett will probably be gone next year anyways.

First off I think it would be stupid to draft a runningback in the first round. If we do so, than I think we should just keep them all. Look what happened last year, it was a good thing we had a lot of backs. Bennett injured, Onterrio suspended, we needed to have mewelde and moe step up and they did.

Well I believe that Bennett and Smith's contracts are up next season and being the talent is very deep in this draft class I think it's a wise move to draft a back. Also if they trade a back I think they could get more for Bennett just because he has a good attitude and does not like smoking the geef!. They will keep Moe and Moore so I would think Bennett and Smith would be the ones to go.

I agree with chavous, We dont need a RB we have 4 good ones already. We need to upgrade our depleated WR position. If we draft a RB it will be a waste of a top ten pick IMO

If we get back i think we will keep them all as th only RB undercontract at end of season is MM

If we draft a RB we should dump TICE! I like him as much as the next viking fan (well I think he's a good coach and has done a good job for us), but if he drafts a RB that would be the biggest waste of a pick!

Scott Studwell is the guy who wants a running back, so you'd have to take your gripes to him.

who actually makes the final decision on who we draft? Is it tice or red or someone else?
