If the Vikings look like a duck ...
If the Vikings look like a duck ... - NFL Nation Blog - ESPNOr, more precisely, the potential to be one. The big question is whether the Vikings are on a sustainable path. Is it possible for Ponder to continue completing 69 percent of his passes, while throwing an average of one interception per 79 attempts? Can Percy Harvin maintain his NFL-best average of 8.4 yards gained after each catch, via Pro Football Focus?
Do we think the run defense will keep limiting opponents to 3.2 yards per carry, tied for the second-best mark in the NFL? Can the pass defense knock away passes at its current rate of more than nine per game? And is Walsh good for 12 out of every 13 field goal attempts, along with an average of more than three touchbacks on kickoffs per game?
We must be the "Worst Duck" in the NFL. LOL.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I am cautiously optimistic about this team. I NEVER expected them to be 4-1 after 5 games. Heck, I would've bet the house on the Vikings being 1-4!
I LOVE what I am seeing and I hope they keep it up!

I wasn't as pessimistic as some one here and actually thought 4-1/3-2 was easy. Didn't think we would lose to the Colts though. Thought our only loss would have been to the 9rs and only would have lost to the Lions if they hadn't started to self destruct by now (which they are).

I honestly thought 4-1 or 3-2 was POSSIBLE ... but not at all PROBABLE.
I looked at the schedule and thought, "If these guys are a little better than we think they are, then they could win a few of these games." Well ... they are.
The question is are they ALOT better than we thought they would be. We will find that out in the next few weeks.
