Re: IF the Vikings leave MN.....

If they did move, how would the league be realigned this time?
Seattle moved from the AFC to the NFC, who would move into the NFN?

I guess I would still cheer for the players like AD, Greenway, Rice, etc. But even then it would only be half-hearted.

I will never cheer for the Packers, and only for the Bears and Lions if they are playing the Packers. If the Vikings moved I guess I would probably start cheering for the Browns, just because they are my favorite AFC team at the moment, but my interest in the NFL would drop to about zero until Minnesota got another team.

At least I would start studying more..

I don't think they care as much about alignment anymore.

    for example:
    Dallas is in the East
    atlanta is in the south

they could hcange those two teams to realign the divisions properly, but they don't because they don't care.

anyone that says they would not root for the Vikings is obviously not a REAL fan. I dont live in MN, nor have i ever even been to MN (i plan on coming out there for the packers game next year tho!)

so...it doesnt really matter to me if they moved....

If it was up to me...you guys can have the Cardinals and the Vikings can move here to AZ...talk about a change in weather haha.

    : Puleaz.
I love it when people define who is a fan and who is not.
According to you I am not a REAL fan then.

Hello, they would not be the Vikings.
They would be the former Vikings and even have a new name.

After all the talk.. I knew there was a little Green and Gold under the surface.
    ;D

    Embrace the Pack once again...

Seriously though.. I hope they stay put.. I don't want to have to cheer against the LA Vikes.
It's hilarious that we have a packers fan among us (of all teams) but I think it's cool. It makes the site even better cause it brings a fresh breath of air.
Pluss, I'm really glad that you are not one of them non-stop trash talkers and I'm not just talking about packers fans here, there are a lot of Vikings fans that act like that as well (just like any other fan in the NFL)
    ;D

However, I wouldn't be trash talking a lot if I was a member of a packer fan site, so I can understand why "pack93z" is careful not to trash talk too much

I would root that ONCE AGAIN the NFL will realize that the POS city Los Angeles is not a good place for an NFL team, and will move the Vikings back

Re: IF the Vikings leave MN.....

First off I could finally rid myself of this PPO addiction I guess.
Which would free up about 18 hours of time a day for me.
With that new found free time I would probably go to Law school, or maybe find a cure for cancer.
I figure if I didnt hang out here on PPO and actually applied all the extra time to my business I would be a Billionaire inside of a year, then I could buy the team from the Wilfs and move it back to MN, which of course would start my finances spiraling to their current levels again as my time was once again consumed by PPO.

Seriously I guess we could always keep the PPO.org going and just change the name to Potted Plant Organization and start discussing the finer points of growing potted plants.

I was actually thinking about this the other day when someone mentioned it.
I guess I would have to convert the Vikings room to Lakers room or something.
It is hard to explain, even though I live in SC and havent been to a home game in years, I dont know if I could still root for the LA Vikings.
I guess it is the fact that they are my childhood team from where my childhood was spent, and all my friends back there still give me the connection to the team.
If they werent from that part of the country where I was born and raised, it just wouldnt be the same.
