IF the Vikings leave MN.....
So, with constant speculation as far as the new stadium and the complications surrounding it, I was wanting to get a feel for how other people would react to them actually moving away. If i didn't supply an option that you would do, or think is funny, feel free to reply with it.

Re: IF the Vikings leave MN.....
This has been polled here in the past, but 2 minutes of diligent searching did not find the old poll.
My position has not changed - I root for the Minnesota Vikings.
Not the LA or San Antonio or Las Vegas or anyplace else Vikings.

Re: IF the Vikings leave MN.....
I lived through this with the North Stars.
Tried to stick with them as they became the Dallas Stars.
Yuck.
Tried to latch on to few teams close to Newport News. Yuck.
Lost most of my interest in Hockey.
Still enjoy watching the Wild when I get a chance but it just isn't the same.
I guess I would have to cheer for whoever was playing Greenbay every weekend.
Unless of course the Wilf ownership group could convince the NFL that a team located in South Eastern VA wouldn't impact the Deadskins (The Ravens don't).
I know of a rather large community that has already designated an area to build a stadium, has a myriad of large nationally based companies that would fill the sky boxes, has the right infrastructure (roads/hotels/airports) to support the events and a rabid fanbase just waiting to become thier fans not to mention a community that has already built several small stadiums for our Baseball - Tidewater Tides (Orioles affiliate) and AHL Hockey team - Hampton Roads Admirals(Blackhawks). Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I JUST started getting into the NHL, a Pens fan b/c of my g/f, and when they were speculating about moving, that would have killed it for me even before it began. If the new team still had AD and TJ, then I think i'd have to follow them until the players i liked were gone.I lived through this with the North Stars.

Embrace the Pack once again...
Seriously though.. I hope they stay put.. I don't want to have to cheer against the LA Vikes.
