who would you like to see them play and why?

My personal opinion is that the Vikes owe payback to one of three teams: the Steelers, the Raiders, or the Dolphins. The Dolphins and the Raiders aren't going to be good enough, so I'd say it would be the Steelers. Who knows about the Patriots, too...

Yes. We could hold Randy Moss to 0 touchdowns....but I guess that's why a dream season.

My dream season:

Vikings go 15-1 on the strength of our defense, like pittsburg

Vikings vs. Carolina: Vikings 35-24

Vikings vs. Philly - NFC Championship Game: Vikes win 28-10, Antoine Winfield gets a nice running start and blasts Terrell Owens through his own bench

Vikings vs. Raiders: Super Bowl - Vikings 38-35 - Randy scores 3 touchdowns in a losing effort

Divisional- Vikings over Eagles
Conference Championship- Vikings over Falcons
Super Bowl- Vikings over Chiefs (payback for SB IV!)

I agree 100%. To be the best, I wanna beat the best. Lets end the dynasty.

Oakland would be the obvious 2nd choice, but no way in he!! they get anywhere near the super bowl with that D. All us vikes fans should know that.

I would like to see them beat the Chiefs. Not going to happen because the mighty chefs won't get to the SB, but it would be awesome. I would, of course, be killed when I wore my #11 jersey out in public in KC...but would die happy

Well as far as my "dream" season goes:

Vikings go 16-0.
Coast easily through the playoffs.
Win the Superbowl by 50 points.

But looking at it realisticly:

Vikings go 12-4.
Lock up homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.
Make their way to the Superbowl with a combination of a strong offense and defense.
Win the Superbowl and we all go crazy.
