Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson’s status for Sunday’s game remains undetermined, according to coach Brad Childress......

I'de first like to TJ get better and get back into the game, and see if he can bounce back from that horrible outting in Detroit.
But then there's something inside me that want's to see what Holcomb can bring to the team, and the field of play.
It's no time to rush TJ's rehab, let him heal.

.......But anyway, as you can probably judge from both the poll on the right and the title of this post, we've got a situation here..........
Re: If Tarvaris Jackson can't go as Vikings QB, whose turn is it?
Kinda doubt Tarvaris will be ready, so whomever gets the start just has to NOT make any mistakes. We won't know til the poker cards are laid down Sunday, but I wouldn't be surprised if BB gets the nod just because he has a little better grasp of the 4 and 2 minute offense. We just really have to protect the ball, and not beat ourselves.

Holcomb.
Thats what the heck we went out and got him for.

To me it's a no brainer, if, and it's a mighty big IF, Holcomb starts and has a great game and brings home the win, espeicaly if he gets us in the endzone a couple of times.
Do we start him against GB also?
Hell yea, I've always believed in staying with what is working, and if Holcomb plays Sunday and works out fine, you stick with him.
If he faulters with GB, then you could put TJ back in, if he's healthy.....
As the old saying goes, if it works, why fix it.......

IMO, Holcomb would be the lesser of the two evils.

Let's give Holcomb an opportunity.
We have seen what Bollinger can do.
Not very much.
Tjack needs to get healthy, and we can see how he bounces back for a horrid performance.
There have been alot more experienced quarterbacks than Tjack that have had bad days, hall of famers included.
I don't believe that a tough road game with an injury is the venue to see how a young quarterback reacts to a bad game.
Let's get him back in time to face the Packers.
A tough team in their own right.
I could not think of a better test for Tjack.
