IF our defensive line can't get it done again . . . how about this guy as coach?
He may look a bit familiar to most (if not all)
. . . and what a nice homecoming, eh?

Milla-a-a-a-ad!!!
It would be great to have him back, but I doubt that our D-line will be a problem this year...the NEW PPEs will wreak havoc on the NFL this season!!!

Agreed.
I was inspired to post this after the "Where is John Randle?" post came up.
I had remembered recently seeing one of our legendary linemen coaching for another team, but I couldn't remember who it was.
After doing the search, and reading about him, I was glad to see he's having success in passing on his gift.
Of course we all like to see former Vikings being successful . . . its just alittle nicer when they can help the hometeam in the process.

Who's are defensive line coach now? We seem to be doing good at that anyways with all those sacks I think they said 9 in the preseason that riduculous why would we need anymore help and defensive line. We also forced those interceptions that went all the way to Sharper and Smoot.

I am and was a huge Millard fan and he is one of my all time favorite Viking players, but he was a bit unstable mentally and I don't know if I would want him as a coach if he still is as volatile as he used to be!
I have had enough of that with Tice, and I want coaches that are a bit more even keel and stable like Bud Grant.

Right now our D-line coach is Karl Dunbar, formerly of the Bears coaching staff. I've heard that the players - especially the DEs - has praised him so far.
Re: IF our defensive line can't get it done again . . . how about this guy as co
No thanks, Dunbar has done wonders with our D-Line, they will get it done, we will probably have a top 10 maybe even top 5 D-Line in the NFL, plus most of the players already said they love Dunbar so, he stays.

Keith Millard now growing up in the mid to late 80's this guy along with Chris Doleman were absolutely crazy a couple rabid pitbulls the kicked some QB azz
if dunbar dont pan out I would definetly welcome MR. Millard as the D line coach.

Keith Millard
would be a great addition to any coaching staff...i loved him in the 80's with doleman myself...and he's got a good resume with the vikings for tackles sacks etc...i think he could improve any d-line

I have to agree with this....
