9 TDs, 12 INTs in 2007.
And there is "no controversy". Whatever...
I don't live in the purple media cloud that obviously surrounds Minnesota, northern Iowa, and the Dakotas. So I have not bought into T-Jacks yet. If you talk to anyone outside that region, they have massive doubts about him (they love AP, though).
QBs whose job is 100% secure going into 2008:
- Brady
- Peyton Manning
- Eli
- Brees
- Hasselbeck
- Roethlisberger
- Favre
- Rivers
- Carson Palmer
- Derek Anderson
I probably forgot one or two, but ...
That is about it. On every other NFL team, there is some kind of "controversy". So quit pretending...
Let's review the teams with a "QB controversy":
- Arizona
- SF
- Denver
- Bills
- Miami
- Houston
- K.C.
- Green Bay
- Detroit
- Redskins
etc.

Yes, you forgot that Jackson's job is 100% secure for 2008. There is no competition for it & you didn't even list him in your controversy list.9 TDs, 12 INTs in 2007.

There is no controversy in GB either. Rodgers is their guy. That controversy died the second Favre was traded to the Jets.
If you think Brohm might cause controversy, obviously you haven't seen him play.
I'd say there's definitely controversy in Baltimore. Troy Smith is not a lock. It's going to be the lesser of two evils there.
I don't put a lot of stock into what people say "outside the region". They are not watching the Vikings games this year & have no clue how we've been doing.
My guess is they are basing their best guesses on last years fantasy football numbers or Madden '09.

Its funny though, the Cardinals, Broncos, Bills, Dolphins, Texans, Packers, Redskins, and Lions DO NOT have a QB controversy. Do you know what a QB controversy is?
Your hatred for Tarvaris Jackson is nauseating and clouds your judgment. I am not a Jackson fan either, but he is the best we got right now and the coaches believe in him so I am willing to set aside my questions and let the season play out."There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."
