I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
Chris Kluwe was the Fourth best punter in the nfl before a lions suck ass 3 sting Db ran into his leg probaly breaking his ankle i am sure he will be missed from our team i do believe that is edinger stay at punter we will have some success but not as much as we would have with Kluwe.Dont tell me that a good punter isnt important a punter is one of the most important postions
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
No doubt. The injury reports usually come out on Wednesdays. If he is out for an extended time they will have to make some roster adjustments and bring a punter back into the mix.
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
If he is out for long they will probably be extending calls to Dorsch and Bennet I would think ... I am very disappointed that we could lose such a valuable weapon to such a piece of crap hit ... Tice was livid and had every right to be ...
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
no kidding we are going to miss him. he was owning and is our mvp. well now they we are winning, mabye not mvp, but damn. the loser that hit him i hope he get suspended for a long time.
is there a video of the hit?
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
They talked to Kluwe after the game and he said it was fine. Said he'll probably play next sunday.
Tice also said it wasn't that bad.
My though: It's not that bad.

I heard it was just a sprain.
I also got to give him kudos on how well he ended up getting that punt off on that botched high snap.
That was calm & collective thinking on his part without panicing.

P Chris Kluwe suffered both a sprained left ankle and strained right knee on separate plays. Kluwe injured his ankle in the third quarter when he was hit by the Lions' Vernon Fox. In the second quarter, Kluwe injured his knee while trying to punt on the run after a high snap from Cullen Loeffler. Kluwe was wearing a boot on his left foot after the game and will be examined again this morning.
RB Mewelde Moore, already playing despite having two sore ankles, sprained his right ankle in the first quarter. Moore returned to carry the ball once late in the second quarter but lost 6 yards.
RB Ciatrick Fason suffered a bruised right knee and a mild concussion while blocking on a second-quarter punt return.
CB Laroni Gallishaw suffered a sprained right ankle in the first quarter and did not return.
LB Heath Farwell sprained his left knee late in the game while playing on special teams.
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
good thing its only a sprain. he can take a week to rest against the rams but we will need him against the steelers.
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
now this injury will increase his punt to 50 yards per punt =D
Re: I think That we are going to miss Kluwe
Is it just me or does MM sprain his ankle EVERY WEEK??? What is it with this guy? Just when he starts to show us something, we get to see why the coaches wanted to go with Bennett at the start of the season. Just pave the way for the stud rookie RB (Maroney/Williams/White) we'll certainly draft in the first round this year.
