I still want Tice to Stay

I was listening to Vikings Fan Line and I was sadden to hear that Morris said that Washington has pretty much got Willingham. Nick Saben is the big name going around now. Any other candidates?

    THANK YOU!
Dont get me wrong.....I am not saying Tice is a genius.....he Isnt a top coach in the leauge either.....But he is young and will get better.....My biggest thing is if we fire him who the hell would we get....I think the only coach I can think off that I would like is Tyrone Willingham.

I just think firing him would do more damage than good thats all im saying.

Firing a head coach can send a message to a team and its players. If we let cottrell coach to the end of the year, I bet the players rally around him and play hard for him. Then in the offseason, find a head coach, unless cottrell totally impresses. I would be everything I own, that cotrell could coach every bit as good as tice has, and better.

I totally agree. Where in the heck does it come from? Maybe these people are angry family members of his or know him. That seems to be the only people I would expect to have any loyalty for him.

Yeah, their D coordinator, romeo, would be a great signing and just what this team needs as a head coach, a defensive minded coach.

Is Romeo Avaible this off-season? Does he want to leave? I havent heard to much about him and want he wants to do..... I bet we wouldnt be the only team intrested in him.....If Tice had to go he wouldnt be a bad option....But I still want Tice to stay.

You ask for names of guys, and then try and make it look like we have no shot at getting them. We just can't win with you, so I will stop answering any questions you ask.

Maybe Kirk Frentz from Iowa, but I don't like that choice.
