The Vikings defense of old was maybe a little better, but with change comes good and bad.
The Vikings offense has improvements but no running game.
All will be fixed eventually to lead to the NFC Championship maybe even after this year.

Exactly, nothing to be gained by wishing things were "the way they used to be". Hell, I wish Clinton was still president, or anyone not named Bush for that matter, but that's not the case. We have to deal with the situation as it stands now.
For the record, the Vikes are in a better situation now with their current roster than the Country is with G.W. in the Oval Office.
