You'd never get value.

It'd be worth it from a team standpoint to get a Brady, Roethlisberger, Cutler, etc.
But you'd never get that quality of quarterback.

You're better off trading picks to get a top prospect in the draft or going the free agent route.

trading AD has to be the worst Idea i've heard in a long time.

Why would you trade the better player?
If anything you'd trade Chester, and with Peterson's durability, that would be a bad move too.

I'm not sure if you read that right.
The Vikings, if they are looking to get a QB, would be better off using draft picks or trying to pick someone up in free agency than trading away Adrian Peterson.
I did not say or suggest that the Vikings should trade Adrian Peterson for draft picks.

Adrian Peterson is what makes Minnesota muuuuuuch more fun to watch. Adrian is for Vikings fans as Steve Smith is for Panthers fans and as Terrell Owens is for Cowboys fans. He brings so much excitement to the team and that's why Vikings have so many bandwagons this year. Chester is a great back, but Adrian is fenomenal.
I'd rather trade Chester Taylor cause he deserves to get more carries than he gets here in Minny.

Ok, my bad, i misread it.
I think the WORST possible thing we could do is trade peterson for a high draft pick
