I know its heresy to say it but does anyone think that we should....
trade adrian peterson? i know that it seems a horrible thing to say, but could it be our solution? i love watching peterson just as much as the next die hard vikings fan, but i also want to see them win. if we could trade peterson for a decent QB and a superstar receiver, we still have Chester Taylor. anyone remember his first season with us? 303 attempts for 1216 yds. last time i checked, teams need to be 2 dimensional even if 1 of those dimensions isn't as flashy and spectacular to watch, as along as its good enough to support the other, in this case, passing. please don't flame me, just say what you think.

We finally have a star. We already made a huge mistake trading Randy Moss. We made a big mistake in the past trading away Fran Tarkenton only to make up for it by bringing him back later on. Peterson makes us relevant. No way in hell I trade him. In fact, extend him to a lifetime contract.

It's way too early in his career to trade him as a solution to our problems. No way...
Trading Taylor would be way more likely and I don't even like that idea.Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!

But never arguably the best back in the league.. Who is only a second year player
