I was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in my left foot

...and I can tell you, if Randy is playing through this, he is in pain. I've played football for four years and intend to play for four more in college. But since this problem arose, I'm noticing a loss of sharpness making cuts on my routes, and jumping for the catch hurts excurciatingly.

I'm sure Randy has more pain tolerance than a 6'2 175 receiver like me, but it certainly heightens my worry about his season, because dang, this hurts.

Try alternate warm and cool soaks for 20 minutes several times a day. Stretch the heel cord and "plantar flex" your toes. This means bringing them toward you nose.

Stepdown and Roll a golf ball underneath your arches applying pressure relief to the area.

You could probably find some downloadable stretches on the internet.

Use advil 45minutes before exercise. Wear cowboy boots, work boots, or gel sole inserts in your running shoes for relief.

Mornings will be the worst. It will get better with time. Take care. Plantar fascitits can be very painful

along with the hot and cold soaks is the best,

I had something like it from jumping out of airplanes and allways doing stuff on the balls of my feet, forgetting to plant my feet right :shaking:
