if he cant throw a straight ball no more than 5 yards back to the QB he doesnt deserve to be in the NFL. or even toss it backwards.

For some reason I was thinking halfback pass, not flea flicker.

So you honestly think with AD a Flea Flicker would not work atleast once or twice a game. me i honestly do. Espically like on the first play of the game. or 3rd and 1 or 2nd and 1 or 4th and inches.

3rd and 1 or 4th and inches you pound the ball.
FB up the middle or QB sneak.
It only takes one player to blow up any gadget play, especially the flea flicker, and I would hate to have to punt or lose possession as a result.

On first and second downs though, I could see it used effectively once or twice a season.
More than once in a game though?

Man Nodak you really dont no how much teams dont have respect for our passing attack and the respect AD gets i guarentee that last year against the redskins if we did more PA's and FF's we would of won.

We have NO!!! respect in the passing game which leaves tricks where AD touches the ball Wide Open, Yes i believe twice a game. cause there not gonna look for it everydown so if they keep there safeties and corners in coverage that will give AD atleast 7 yards to a touchdown on everyplay if Tapeh can get to the second level

Well actually, I do have a pretty good idea of the lack of respect other teams for our passing attack.

And believe it or not, I actually know a little bit about football tool.

If you abuse a play like the flea flicker, then defenses adjust to it.
Part of the problem with a flea flicker is the offensive blocking schemes - because neither the RB or the QB are used in blocking.
A blitz absolutely breaks it up because there is rarely enough time for the RB to get the ball back to the QB and the QB to make his read and throw.
If we start using the flea flicker twice a game, we will see a helluva lot more blitzes, which I don't think would help out our actual passing game too much.

You are correct that when AD was on the field they put 8 or 9 men in the box every time.
That was because it was going to be a run about 95% of the time.
Why?
Partially because AD sucked at pass protection (common for rookie RBs).
This year he will shore up his pass protection, putting him in on passing plays a LOT more, which will thin out the box considerably.
Put in some screens and PA passes, and the occasional gadget play like flea flicker or HB Pass, and we will be done well.
