Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS

    SERIES HISTORY

Minnesota has a 8-5 lead in its all-time series with Pittsburgh, but was a 21-16 road loser the last time the teams met, in 2001. Minnesota's most recent victory in the series took place in 1995, on the road, and the Vikings were 31-7 winners when the clubs last faced off at the Metrodome, in 1986. The Steelers' last win in Minnesota took place in 1980.

Orton seemed to rip up that formidable secondary in two passes last week. The secondary has always been the weakest link for the steelers.

We will win if we play field position ball with good Kluwe punts, stop the run and don't turn it over. The same thing we have been doing the last 6 weeks.

Man they suck on offense. They aint scoring more than 10 on the Vikes.
As its been said many times, looking at full year averages for both teams doesn't show the real picture. From your perspective, it doesn't show how your team has been playing over the last 6 games and from our perspective (on offense), those stats are including a lot of games when Ben was not playing.

Stats are like a bikini...what they show is nice but its what they don't show that really counts
A lot of games when Ben was not playing? He's missed 4 games. In two games he was gone Maddox threw for 154 against the Jags and 230 in another against the Ravens. No too bad with the 154 and most any QB in the league would take 230 yards for a game.

Stats don't really matter? In the Vikings offense in last 6 games that's all that Steelers fan threw at us and all you other Steelers fan praised him. Make your mind up my flip flopping... wait you're not my friend.

Edit: As a matter of fact, I just checked that Vikings offense in the last 6 games thread and it turned out to be YOU that posted all those stats on our offense and defense. LOL! Make up your mind kid.
Maybe you should slow down and read this real slow before you post...then maybe you will make more sense

I think our Steeler fan friend is saying that stats only count when they favor his point of view.

Bottom line, if we can contain the run, we can kill their offense. If our Offense plays smart...the way they have been...we can handle their Defense. Either way, this is a very winable game.

Unfortunately, it's very winable for either team. Should be a good match up.
