Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
By no name I assume you mean Alan Faneca... you know the perennial pro bowler at left guard. And also Jeff Hartings... a pro bowl center.

Sorry.. I misunderstood
I meant Casey Hampton, one of the best nose tackles in the business, who's also a pro bowler... think before you speak

Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
Pat Williams is argubly the best run stopping DT in the NFL, and dont forget Kevin Williams , a "pro bowler" just like your no name on your team.

Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
it doesnt matter what your dline can do because its 1.2.3 throw. no way any nfl player can get sacks when they take three steps and throw. your corners will have to make plays and i just dont see it.

Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
It's tough to compare the two. Casey is a 3-4 nose tackle. His job is to take up two blockers on every play. As a result he doesn't get the tackles or sacks because his job is to free up somebody else. He's a very unselfish player and I wouldn't trade him for anybody. To say Williams is definitely better is silly IMO. Who knows how good Casey would be in a 4-3 front, and also how effective Pat would be as a 3-4 tackle. They're both very good players, but to say one is "definitely" better than the other is just senslessly pounding your chest.

Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
If it's 1,2,3 throw then why does brad get sacked 3 times per game?

Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
ben roethlesberger has been sacked 16 times in 9 starts. everybody gets sacked its part of the game. but what im saying is that brad plays into the streagth of the pitts def because they like to blitz. when you blitz against a guy that can beat you repeatedly with short 5 yard passes he will kill you.

Re: This is how we stack up against the STEELERS
ill agree with you on the fact that your oline is better than ours. thats a given. im just saying that the way brad plays cancels out most rush from the line position
