How the Vikings stack up against other teams.
So I was a little bored at work today and did a little spreadsheet. The following is a list of all 32 teams and their winning percentage and winning seasons since 1970. Why 1970? Well most will remember that was the year of the big merger. Teams with the * are teams that have won the Super Bowl since 1970. Teams are sorted by Win percentage. These are only for regular season games. I am working on one for playoff games since 1970 but that one takes a bit more work. Now, to what end did I do this? To see how teams that have won at least one Super Bowl stack up against teams that have not. As you can see, out of the top 16 teams by win percentage only 3 have never won a Super Bowl, and of the bottom 16 only 3 have. (Again, since 1970)

Great Post!~
What jumps off the page at me is that we are the only team in top 5 win % without a SB win. After that of the teams the first 20 teams in win % only 5 do not have titles.
The other thing I think about is how high the win percentage would be or is, if the Purple People Eater teams were factored in. I believe that they won something like 9 of 10 division titles through the '60's and were utterly dominant.
