    Re:How underrated is Kevin Williams?

Evertime I hear him mentioned, it's as one of the best in the game at his position. I don't believe he is underrated or overlooked at all. And if I remember correctly, wasn't he the pick where the 'Vikes let the pick slide, and some teams got their picks in 1st? And when his name was called, I remember the tv showed a shot of the 'Vikes draft party or whatever, and people were looking around with bewilderment asking "Who?" I'm sure that's how I remembered it

Considering that most people regard him as the best DT in the league, he was voted on the all-decade team, I'd say he's not underrated at all.

Hold on there, dude. Hey, I love KWill as much as anyone, but he's got a long way to go before you can call his career HoF-worthy.

HOF player? I don't know about that.. but speaking from the outside looking in, I don't think many underrate just how good Kevin Williams is..

Does it help to have a "load" next to him in Pat.. hell yes.. but watching Kevin play for a couple of years, guy is a hell of a player.

Better way of looking at this is how over-rated King Albert was and how he will be laughing for years to come on the Skins dime.

Kwill is awesome. JA makes the whole line look better. Ray better start to step up. Kwill and Pat sure have.
Ray can be replaced by Kampman next year.

Gregair I think it is more of the fact that DTs are not talked about as much as other positions. But when DT is brought up, KWill is usually considered the first or second best at the position.

On his way implies keeping up levels of productivity/dominance; not if he goes down with an injury tomorrow.....

    (For Zeus).

Yes, I understand what it implies. I also know how hard it is for DTs to get into the HoF.

He's not underestimated by opposing offenses.
He's had a little quieter year so far this year. But he had a very good day yesterday.

I feel Kevin Williams is the key to a championship.
If he continues to play well, I like our chances.

I think saying that he is "well on his way" to a Hall of Fame career is more than fair.

At the end of this season he is going to be a 5x Pro Bowler and more importantly a 5x ALL PRO. Five times being All Pro is nothing to scoff at.

There is no reason to think that he is not going to end up with somewhere between 8-9 Pro Bowls and 7-8 All Pro seasons. If that ends up the case, he will be VERY Hall worthy.

He plays at a position where longevity is good in the NFL and is only 29. He could EASILY have 6 more very productive years.

Most people around these parts discuss that Randle (7x Pro Bowl, 6x All Pro) and Marshall (only a 2x Pro Bowler) should both be in the Hall of Fame.

How can you say that KWill is "well on his way" is a stretch? It would be a stretch to say he IS a hall of famer, but definitely not a stretch to say he is well on his way.
